Social Media Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and creative Social Media Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engage our target audience, and drive growth. You will manage our social media presence across various platforms, create compelling content, analyze performance metrics, and stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our business goals and target audience.
  • Manage and oversee all company social media accounts (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube) ensuring brand consistency.
  • Create, curate, and schedule engaging content, including text posts, images, videos, and interactive content, optimized for each platform.
  • Monitor social media channels for trends, conversations, and brand mentions, and engage with followers in a timely and professional manner.
  • Build and maintain relationships with influencers, industry experts, and partners to expand our reach and amplify our message.
  • Plan and execute social media campaigns to promote our products, services, and events, and track their effectiveness.
  • Analyze social media data and metrics (e.g., engagement, reach, impressions, click-through rates) to measure performance, identify insights, and optimize strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, technologies, and best practices, and recommend new strategies to improve our social media presence.
  • Collaborate with marketing, communications, and other internal teams to ensure social media efforts are integrated with overall marketing and communication plans.
  • Manage social media budgets and track expenses.
  • Develop and maintain social media guidelines and brand voice documentation.
  • Create regular reports on social media performance and present findings to management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful social media campaigns and growth.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, their algorithms, best practices, and advertising options.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to create engaging and compelling content for various audiences and platforms.
  • Strong understanding of social media analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, platform-specific analytics).
  • Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, SproutSocial).
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing principles, including SEO, content marketing, and email marketing.
  • Experience with visual content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for social media.
