Job Summary:
Digital Green Glory is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Technical Sales Supervisor to lead and mentor our technical sales team. As a Technical Sales Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of the sales process, ensuring the team effectively communicates the value and technical specifications of our offerings to prospective clients. Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership and Management:
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of technical sales professionals, providing guidance on technical aspects of sales engagements.
- Set clear performance expectations, monitor team activities, and provide regular feedback and performance evaluations.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Identify training needs and coordinate professional development opportunities for the team.
- Technical Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of technical sales strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop compelling technical value propositions and sales collateral.
- Ensure the team effectively communicates the technical benefits and differentiators of our IT solutions.
- Sales Support and Enablement:
- Provide technical expertise and support to the sales team throughout the sales cycle, including presentations, demonstrations, and proposal development.
- Assist in qualifying technical requirements and developing tailored solutions for clients.
- Act as a point of escalation for complex technical inquiries from the sales team and clients.
- Client Engagement and Relationship Management:
- Participate in key client meetings and presentations, providing technical insights and building rapport.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key technical stakeholders within client organizations.
- Ensure client satisfaction by addressing technical concerns and ensuring smooth solution implementation.
- Product Knowledge and Industry Trends:
- Maintain a deep understanding of the company’s IT solutions, services, and technologies.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape.
- Share knowledge and insights with the sales team to enhance their technical acumen.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Track and analyze key technical sales metrics and provide regular reports to management.
- Identify areas for improvement in the technical sales process and recommend solutions.
- Contribute to sales forecasting and pipeline management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in technical sales or a related technical role within the IT industry.
- Proven experience in leading and mentoring a technical team.
